Cubberley's Volunteer of the Year

Every year, schools in the LBUSD have an opportunity to choose one special person to be recognized as a VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools) of the year. Cubberley's selection this year is Jessica Dotts. She was honored last week at LBUSD offices (see photo).

Jessica has been a volunteer at Cubberley since 2012 and she is currently in her third year as president of the Cubberley School Foundation. She is also very active with the Cubberley PTA, co-chairing the Book Fair, Reading Rewards, and Membership programs, as well as volunteering in her in children’s classrooms.

Her positivity and enthusiasm are infectious. If something fun is going on at Cubberley, you can be sure Jessica is a part of it! She is always on site to lend a hand for all of Cubberley’s events and goes above and beyond to make the students smile, dressing in costume for the annual Turkey Trot and Bunny Hop.

Amazing volunteers like Jessica are a huge part of what makes Cubberley so special and we can’t thank her enough for her dedication.
